Vaping is the vapourising of a specially formulated flavoured liquid, the eliquid or juice, by a battery powered Atomiser'. Vaping liquids are normally supplied in 10ml bottles though larger bottles are available. All Pheonix our high PG flavours are available without any nicotine (0mg) or in stepped strengths of 6mg, 12mg, 18mg and 24mg. All Pheonix our High VG Flavours are supplied in 3mg and 6mg (0mg coming soon). We also stock Ruthless and Suicide Bunny high VG Flavours.
As flavour is subjective, we offer all our Pheonix eliquids on a try before you buy basis when visiting our stores where our fully trained staff will be glad to offer free advice.
A vaping 'Atomiser' consists of 3 main parts; a battery (usually rechargeable), a heating coil and a liquid resovoir. The basic principle is that pressing
the 'vape' button causes a liguid (or 'juice') to be dripped onto a heating coil which in turn is heated by the battery. Heating coils can purchased
with different strengths (coils are rated by their resistance in OHMS - usually 1.2 to 6.5 ohms) and batteries can be purchased with different voltages
(usually 3 to 8 volts). The resulting combination will give a power output in watts (similar to a domestic electric fire) and thus enoght temperature to vapourise the eliquid (juice). Generally, the ideal wattage is approximately 7 watts, lower wattages may not produce any vapour, higher wattages may cause the eliquid to burn. Buying a starter kit or complete atomiser means
the manufacturer has done the required calculations and the atomiser will be set for the greatest efficiency.
Mouthpiece : the 'vaping' end, when buying an atomiser make sure this is comfortable
Liquid Resovoir : the eliquid store
Coil : the eliquid heating element, usually these are single coils, however high performance dual coils are also avaialble
Power Button : pressing this causes the battery to heat the coil and for liquid to be dispensed from the resovoir
Battery : usually a rechargeable Lithium Ion (Li-Ion) type
USB Charging Port : charging port for the battery, usually a Micro USB simililar to a mobile phone
N.B. NEVER USE A CHARGER WHICH IS NOT SPECIFICALLY FOR YOUR ATOMISER - MOST USB CHARGERS ARE 5V OUTPUT AND CANNOT HANDLE THE CURRENT REQUIREMENTS
